Telecom Resources, Inc. is an independent, full service telecom solutions company started in 1986 by Barbara A. Grothe, CTP. Barbara is a Certified Telecommunications Professional, which means she can analyze (help determine needs and plan solutions), administer, implement, manage and maintain telecom infrastructure.
She has been a featured speaker for national industry conferences including the World Conference on Incoming Call Center Management (ICCM), Building Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI), the Banking Administration Institute, Administrative Management Society and the Society of Telecommunications Consultants (STC).
She is Co-Author of The Handbook of Telecommunications, published by Business Communications Review in Chicago. Her articles have appeared nationally in Investors Business Daily, Entrepreneurial Woman, and Computer Consultant magazines. Barbara is listed in the Who's Who in the Midwest and the Who's Who of Emerging Leaders of America for her accomplishments.
In 2007, Barbara received the International Fellow of the Year award granted by the Center for Information and Communication Sciences (CICS) at Ball State University in Muncie, IN.
Michael has been in the telecom business since 1982. Michael spent 9 years with MCI Telecommunications. He was Director of Sales and Service for the Midwest Division covering the states of Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin. He started Telecom Technology Corporation (TTC) in 1990. Telecom Technology provided voice and data Structured cabling systems, telephone systems, voice mail systems and paging systems to the commercial marketplace. Michael was a member of the Building Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI) for 13 years. Michael joined Telecom Resources, Inc. in 2003 and has been involved with running the business and providing independent consulting and project management services.
Telecom Resources, Inc. clients include Bank of America (Phoenix), GE Capitol (Cincinnati), USF&G Insurance (Boston), US West Cellular (Seattle), Internal Revenue Service (Austin), Ryerson Tull (Chicago) and Harris Bank (Chicago).
